What's in the Panther Utilities Folder?
Your system has just been given a tune-up and should be working in a noticeably improved manner. As a part of your tune-up Panther Computers has installed the following tools and software to keep you protected:
- AVG Anti-Virus - Two year license of the paid professional edition that provides combined virus and spyware protection without slowing your pc down. Regularly $59 for two years, but included with the Panther Tuneup.
- CCleaner - OKA (Otherwise Known As) Crap Cleaner: "CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it\'s fast (normally taking less that a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware! :) "
- Disk Cleaner - is a free open source (GPL v2) tool to quickly and easily clean your hard disk from temporary files like those in the system temporary folder, the Internet Explorer Cache and Cookies folder, and the Recycle Bin. Disk Cleaner is absolutely free from adware and spyware.
- Spybot Search & Destroy - Free anti-spyware protection blocks, and clean-up tool.
- Spywareblaster - Free ActiveX spyware protection.
- UltraDefrag is a powerful Open Source Defragmentation tool for the Windows Platform. It can defragment any system files including registry hives and paging file. Also one of the main goals of UltraDefrag is doing the job as fast and reliable as possible.

The Panther Tuneup is only available for Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8. Windows 98 and ME have been unsupported by Microsoft for over 2 years, and you should begin budgeting for a newer system. Windows 95 machines should be replaced by all but the very specialized vertical applications as they haven't been supported for over 5 years, the hardware is largely unavailable from reliable sources, and after ten years, you've gotten your monies worth.
