Panther Computers Rates
Labor rates are typically stair stepped to the highest charge ($140) and combined only when the labor or work is not similar in nature. For example; replacing a laptop screen is not similar to cleaning up viruses from the system.
- Diagnostic Fee: Free*
- Installation Fee/Quick Fix/Minimum Shop Fee: $35
- Laptop LCD screen replacement $35 plus parts
- Repair install or Reload System OS, with all updates, includes Panther Computer Software (less AVG Anti-Virus): $80
- Laptop DC Jack Repairs not requiring complete disassembly: $80 plus parts
- Panther Tune-up: $140
- Laptop DC Jack Repairs requiring complete disassembly: $140 plus parts
State law requires sales tax (6.5%) on any service requiring parts of any kind.
We run advertising specials that you must mention in order to qualify for the discount. You are also eligible for a 10% discount in store on labor rates only if you are Military (active, guard, reserve, retired, or spouses), a student, an educator, or a senior. This isn't automatic so please tell us when you ask for service for your discount. Only one discount applies, no stacking of coupons or discounts.
* We will diagnose for free, which is a verbal indication of what must be done and at what cost. We will not do free reports for Insurance or shipping company claims as a minimum shop fee will apply. This does not include disassembly of laptops beyond externally accessible panels. We reserve the right to limit the number of free diagnostics per person.
